How a callout works

The van comes out
Our vans carry the fitting equipment and a stock of common sizes, so most callouts are finished in a single visit rather than a return trip.
03 / Fit and check
Fitted on the spot
The old tyre comes off, the new one goes on, the wheel is balanced and torqued and the pressures are set before we leave. We take the old tyre away.

When to call us out
A blowout or a sudden loss of pressure. Pull up somewhere safe and call. Do not try to drive on to a garage on a deflated tyre.
Damage to the sidewall. Cuts, splits and bulges in the sidewall cannot be safely repaired. That tyre needs replacing.
A flat found before a journey you cannot move. An early start, a hospital appointment, a job you have to be at.
No usable spare. No spare at all, a space-saver you would rather not travel on, or a sealant kit that has not held.
Before you book
Before we arrive
On a motorway, safety comes first. Get the car onto the hard shoulder, leave it from the passenger side, get behind the barrier and call the emergency services before you call us.
Have the registration ready. It tells us the wheel and tyre sizes the car was built with, which saves a conversation at the roadside.
Tell us where you actually are. A marker post number, a junction, a what3words or a dropped pin all beat a road name on a long road.
