The phone is the fastest way to reach us, and it is answered around the clock. Anything urgent — a flat, a blowout, a car that will not start — should be a call rather than a form.

Where the vehicle is A postcode is enough. On a motorway or slip road, give us the road number, the direction you were heading and the nearest junction or marker post.
Make and model Plus the registration if you have it to hand. It tells us what the car takes before we set off.
Tyre size The numbers moulded into the sidewall, such as 205/55 R16. If you cannot reach the tyre safely, leave it — we can work it out from the vehicle.
What happened A flat that went down overnight, a blowout at speed and a car that will not start are three different jobs, and they need different things in the van.
Stay out of the vehicle
Get behind the barrier On a motorway or dual carriageway, leave the car from the passenger side and wait up the bank behind the barrier, not in the vehicle.
Hazards on, wheels left Put the hazards on and turn the wheels away from the carriageway before you get out.
Call the police if you are not safe If the car is in a live lane or you cannot get out safely, that is a 999 call first. Ring us once you are clear.
